The Cider Mill is located in the quiet hamlet of Monnington House and sits close to the cider apple orchards and the river Wye. It is has a spacious kitchen sitting room with plenty of light and direct access onto a south facing terrace and mature enclosed garden. Many a lovely breakfast, lunch and supper is enjoyed on this terrace whilst listening to the wonderful birdsong.
There are 3 ensuite bedrooms with superking zip and link beds and 400 thread count linen allowing you to rest and restore. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom/shower room.
There is fabulous walking from the door and numerous walking trails to choose. The River Wye is nearby and provides endless entertainment. Our guests often canoe, fish, paddleboard and wild swim. A superb farm shop at the top of the lane only 1.8 miles from the house is frequented by our guests. The Red Lion at Bredwardine is a good hours walk along the Wye Valley Walk and beside the River Wye. Guests also enjoy visiting the Kilpeck Inn and the Stagg at Titley. Visits to Hay on Wye, particularly on Thursday which is market day are enjoyed. The Mappi Mundi in Hereford Cathedral amuses people and young and old love visiting the Small Rare Breeds Farm at Kington which is only 4 miles away.
