Tangled Parrot is an independent record shop which has been trading since the year 2000. The shop has been rated one of the best in the UK by both the Guardian and the Times and has built a reputation on good customer service and supporting local music. We were originally based in Carmarthen but have now expanded with shops in Swansea and Hay-on-Wye.
We stock all genres of music on all formats but we specialise in the fringes and sometimes the extremes of music. We also have a range of merchandise like t-shirts and badges, We also sell music/culture books and magazines. Tangled Parrot trades online (see weblink). The Hay-on-Wye shop space is shared with Eighteen Rabbit who trade in fair trade products priding themselves on direct relationships with suppliers from across the globe.
