Everything that Hay has to offer is within walking distance, while some of the UK's most scenic and beguiling countryside is just a stones-throw away.
There's plenty to enjoy at the house after a day's exploration; cosy up by one of the wood burners with a (newly discovered!) old tome; relax in the walled garden; or rustle up a feast on the Lacanche range cooker. The house is particularly well-suited to family gatherings and mixed-aged groups with several living spaces, plenty of books, board games and films to entertain, plus an enviable, central location that's perfect for comings and goings throughout the day.
Sycamore house has capacity for up to eight guests. There are four double bedrooms with kingsize beds, two on the first floor and two on the second. The top floor bedrooms have wonderful views across the surrounding countryside and each has an en-suite shower room. The first floor bedrooms share a large bathroom with a deep-soaking tub.

Our standard pricing is for weekly stays for groups of up to eight guests across the four double bedrooms.
2021/22: Weekly prices from £1575 (low season) to £1995 (high season) excluding Christmas & New Year.
2022 - June, July, August. During the summer season we will be offering 6-night stays, beginning on a Saturday (with an early, 2pm check-in) and ending on Friday afternoon (with a late, 2pm check-out). This is to best accommodate our housekeeping team and maintain a gap between guest groups. Damage deposit £500. Cleaning fee £170 (for all stays).
We offer special rates for smaller groups of up to four guests (use of two bedrooms only). We are able to offer 3-night weekend stays (Friday to Monday) and 4-night mid-week stays (Monday to Friday) throughout the year. Please enquire for details.
