Monnington House and Garden Cottage provide very comfortable self catering accommodation for up to 18 guests plus 2 dogs by arrangement. Nestled at the end of a No Through Road on the edge of a family farm is this beautiful house and cottage.
Extended family groups and gatherings of friends enjoy this superb 5 Star accommodation. There are 9 spacious bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Each bedroom has a hypnos superking zip and link bed and luxurious 400 thread count linen allowing you all to rest and restore. The kitchen is the heart of the house and is well equipped for catering and numbers. The dining area seats 20 comfortably. A snug, TV room and drawing room give plenty of space to retreat to.
The garden and grounds are huge and amount to about 2 acres. There is also a huge playing field for football goals.
In the outbuildings there is a games room with pool table and table football plus a rustic table tennis room. There is walking from the door and number of walking trails to choose including the Wye Valley Walk. Fishing is available nearby on the Wye. Visits to Hay on Wye and Hereford are enjoyed.
A breadth of great pubs including the Red Lion at Bredwardine which guests walk to. It takes a good hour and is enjoyed.
A fabulous farmshop is 1.8 miles from the house and extremely well stocked. We have great local caterers who work in the house frequently and receive brilliant reviews.
There is a ground floor bedroom in Garden Cottage which has M1 status. It is suitable for those with limited mobility. There are grab rails in the shower and by wc.
3 and 7 nights stays are available. During the school holidays and summer months bookings are usually for 7 nights. Prices range from £4200 - £8800 per week and weekends from £2995 to £4500.
