Scientific Survey Morning
21st April
Ecologist Tim Kaye will be undertaking a full survey of St Faith's Churchyard as part of the Dorstone Settlement Timeline project. We're looking for adult research volunteers to help Tim carry out biodiversity surveys and wildlife recordings of the site. Email Tim on: tim@clan-cic.org
Hay Music: The New London Chamber Ensemble

Enjoy late-night entertainment, family activities, and probably the biggest bookshop you’ll ever see. The site is free to enter with events ticketed individually. HowTheLightGetsIn 2026

HowTheLightGetsIn, the world’s largest philosophy and music festival, returns to Hay-on-Wye, bringing a dynamic weekend of groundbreaking ideas, stimulating debates, and live performances. Join us for over 300 events across 12 stages, featuring more than 180 music acts, performances, parties, and over 100 thought-provoking talks and debates. Festival alumni include renowned thinkers like Nobel Laureate Roger Penrose, iconic scientist Brian Cox, former leader of the Labour Party Jeremy Corbyn, alongside Brit Award-winning bands like The Last Dinner Party and Hot Chip.
