The Globemakers are an established, informal craft group that meet one Tuesday a month downstairs at the Globe. Over the years we have tackled a number of projects, including crochet, mosaic, printmaking, patchwork, festive decorations, glass painting, decoupage and more.Members canalso bring their own ongoing projects, and sharing new ideas and methods is very welcome. Until 8pm every Thursday from the 30th November – 21st December. This will give us all even more opportunities to support our hard-working small businesses during the festive season and buy great gifts, produce and treats locally. There’s also talk of choirs singing carols, steaming hot-chocolate and kissing under the mistletoe! Slippery Slope are a four piece acoustic band combining an unusual mix of instruments and musical styles to produce charming, fun and foot stomping sound.
