Lego Club
12th February to 31st December
10 - 1pm, Third Sunday of each Month. Join us for a fun and therapeutic Lego-building session hosted by The Therapy wise Foundation and ELSA. Parents can relax with food or drinks nearby while remaining available if needed. Let’s create, share, and enjoy together!
Climate Choir
29th July to 30th December
Every Tuesday (except every 3rd Tuesday) 7pm - 8:30pm. Open to all, whether you're a professional singer or you've never sung before. Come together to sing songs for the earth! Globe at Hay.
The Ciderhouse Rebellion

The Ciderhouse Rebellion-Magical in-the-moment music from a virtuoso duo. Masters of improvisation The Ciderhouse Rebellion sees virtuoso musicians Adam Summerhayes and Murray Grainger combine to produce incredible spontaneous tapestries of sound. 8pm start. The Globe at Hay.
Outdoor Cooking Fun
21st September
2-5pm | Free. Join Kids Kitchen to cook over an open fire and consume what you have made afterwards. A celebration of local food and learning to use produce. No experience necessary, families welcome.
Sacred Song and Dance
26th September
The Globe at Hay. Join us for sacred songs and circle dances inspired by the spiritual traditions of the world. 7:30 - 9:30pm.
Charity Quiz Night
28th September
Doors 7pm | Start 7:30pm. Teams of up to 6, £5 per person. This includes a plate of chips and entrance to our 'heads or tails game.' The Globe at Hay.
Mushroom Madness Trivia Night
3rd October
8pm | Suggested donations of £5. A quiz night sprouting with silliness! Bring your friends, your best guesses, and a sense of humour. It’s all for a good cause, with every penny raised going to Hay Regenerative Soils CIC, helping create a carbon-neutral, community-led food system for Hay-on-Wye.
PICKLING AND PRESERVING WORKSHOP

The Mikeleiz-Zucchi Duo

Bringing our 2025 season to a lively finale, the exciting Mikeleiz-Zucchi Duo of saxophonist David Zucchi and Spanish accordionist Iñigo Mikeleiz-Berrade perform a series of dance and traditional music. Music by Bach, Couperin, Granados, Piazzolla, Sweeney and Paxton amongst others. Vist website
VERA VAN HEERINGEN & BROOKS WILLIAMS
12th October
Vera Van Heeringen and Brooks Williams present “Song Roots,” a night of songs, stories and masterful guitar playing. Audiences will be treated to duets as well as solos in this variation of the “songwriter in the round” sessions made famous in Nashville in the early years of Folk/Americana.
Hay Festival Winter Weekend
26th November to 30th November
Join Hay Festival Winter Weekend from 26–30 November 2025, taking place in the grounds of Hay Castle in the renowned booktown of Hay-on-Wye. Immerse yourself in events showcasing over 70 acclaimed writers and performers taking part in over 60 events, launching the best new fiction and non-fiction, offering creative solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time, and spreading festive joy in conversations, candle-lit storytelling, comedy, music, and workshops. The full line-up of artists will be revealed at noon on Tuesday 23 September.

Hay Festival 2026
21st May to 31st May
Hay Festival welcomes writers, readers, thinkers and dreamers of all ages for 11 days of events and activities. Launching the best new fiction and non-fiction, while offering insights and debate around significant global issues, the programme sees writers, policy makers, pioneers and innovators take part from around the world, offering big thinking and bold ideas. The site is free to enter with on stage events ticketed individually, with more than 600 in-person events, there’s something for everyone.
