Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a quiet location in Hay-on-Wye, (just off the main Brecon Road) but only 3 minutes stroll from the town centre and bookshops. St Mary's B&B is a guest house with five ensuite rooms sleeping up to 12 guests; all rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with comfortable beds.
There is a TV, complimentary tea & coffee, hairdryer and toiletries in every room.

A full English Breakfast: grilled bacon, sausage, tomato, mushrooms, poached / scrambled eggs and toast with cereals, orange juice, grapefruit segments, yoghurt and fruit - is served between 8-9am but we are happy to do an earlier time if required and will cater for all diets. Fair trade products and locally sourced meat and eggs used whenever possible.

Why not stay a while, browse the 30 or so bookshops or just relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside. The Black Mountains, Radnorshire Hills and Brecon Beacons are within easy reach of Hay. Within 30 minutes drive are the market towns of Hereford, Leominster, Brecon, Builth Wells, and Abergavenny.
The Golden Valley, Elan Valley, Black & White Village trail, The Big Pit at Blaenavon, Dan-yr-Ogaf caves are just a few of the attractions within 45 minutes drive.

For the more adventurous, there are many activities: canoe down the river, Free Rein Riding Holidays, pony trekking,
walk along Offas Dyke or Wye Valley walk, make use of the free tennis courts, in the summer the school swimming pool is open to the public, sail on Llangorse Lake, indoor climbing & activity centre again at Llangorse.
Ten pin bowling and cinemas & swimming pool in Hereford & Brecon.
For those who are walking the Offas Dyke or Wye Valley we can provide transport for you or your luggage at a prearranged tariff.
