Nestled in the heart of the town in a quiet cul-de-sac are a
beautiful row of charming stone cottages.
Chancery Cottage is a delightful oakbeamed and spacious two double bedroom cottage which sleeps four. It has a large comfortable oak floor living room which benefits from both an open gas-fire and central heating. It is equipped with a colour television (welsh transmitter) with DVD player & ipod connection on stereo player. Upstairs are two carpeted double bedrooms, both beds are fitted with orthopedic mattresses for comfort. Bedlinen and duvets are supplied but not towels.
   
The spacious kitchen/breakfast room is fully fitted with a hand-painted kitchen and warm Spanish terra-cotta floor tiles. It has an automatic
washing machine/dryer, electric cooker, microwave and fridge. The bathroom is equipped with a bath and separate powershower unit. A stable door leads from the kitchen to a secluded south facing patio at the rear of the cottage.
   

Weekend or weekly breaks available. Arrival from 6pm and departure from midday. Deposit required in advance and balance payable on arrival.

Parking is not available in Chancery Lane but you can park outside the cottage to load and unload your car. Parking can be easily found at the main car park in Oxford Road by the Tourist Information Centre which is only a few minutes walk from Chancery Lane.

HAY-ON-WYE.
A small market town which lies on the Wales/England border mid on the banks of the River Wye. It is situated just off the main Hereford Road approximately 21 miles from Hereford or 15 miles from Brecon. Over recent years it has become famous as being the largest second-hand and antiquarian book centre in the world. Hay-on-wye is excellent for spending time browsing in. the many varied book and print shops or relaxing in the fine cafes, restaurants and hostelries which the area has to offer. The surrounding breathtaking scenery of the Black Mountains and the Wye River offers such delights as pony trekking, cycling, canoeing, fishing, sailing, and hill walking.
